Reputed for its robust flavor, the hanger steak comes from the diaphragm of a steer and is also known as the one of the tenderest part of all beef cuts. Being the most prized beef cut, there is only one hanger steak cut per steer and thus is rare to find.

The soft and loose texture of the hanger steak makes it perfect for absorbing the richness of other ingredients within the sous vide pack, making the steak more tender and flavorful than ever.

Please completely defrost and follow the instructions below:

1. Open package and take steak out.
2. Dry steak with kitchen paper towel.
3. Take herbs out from the package and place aside with butter for later use.
4. Heat pan in high flame with oil until hot and a little white smoke is produced.
5. Put steak into the pan and sear for 1 to 1.5 minutes.
6. Flip the steak and add butter and herbs next to it. You may also add garlic according to your taste.
7. Baste melted butter onto the steak while searing for another 1 to 1.5 minutes until steak is golden.
8. Your steak is ready to be served!
